Training, evidence and systems that outlast the project
A multidisciplinary development consultancy in Hohoe, Volta Region. We work with district assemblies, NGOs and communities across Ghana — pairing hands-on skills training with the data systems and reporting that prove it worked.
Eight service pillars, drawn on together
Most assignments need more than one discipline. We pair them deliberately — field training with the data system that tracks it, governance advice with the records practice that sustains it.
Skills training & capacity building
Vocational, agribusiness and digital-literacy training delivered hands-on and paced for the people in the room — including mushroom and poultry production, agro-processing, soap making and beekeeping.
Research, M&E & proposal development
M&E system design, baseline and endline assessments, surveys and analysis — plus development of funded research and training grant proposals.
Information technology & data systems
An in-house IT wing building mobile and web data-collection tools, databases and dashboards. We currently operate a mobile app for collecting data on Persons with Disabilities in the field.
Child rights & advocacy
Capacity building, policy advocacy and community sensitization on the rights and protection of children, delivered with local institutions and assemblies.
Conflict resolution & peacebuilding
Mediation, peacebuilding and community dialogue that address local disputes and strengthen cohesion at district and community level.
Educational consultancy
Curriculum development, training-content design and inclusive-education advisory — making sure learning is pedagogically sound and appropriately paced.
Local governance, administration & HR
Orientation and capacity-building workshops for District and Municipal Assemblies covering training needs assessment, performance appraisal, records management and revenue mobilization.
Business development & finance
Project budgeting, procurement and donor-standard financial reporting, alongside entrepreneurship training in record-keeping, costing and market access.
What we're delivering now
Community mushroom production, processing and entrepreneurship training for Persons with Disabilities
Beneficiaries are organised into nine production groups, each with its own production structure. The programme runs a full production cycle rather than a single workshop — construction and set-up, then hands-on training through compost preparation, bagging, spawning, sterilization and harvest, then processing, entrepreneurship training and handover of operating enterprises with a mentorship plan.
Progress is tracked against a published results framework — yield per bag, contamination rate, groups with an operating enterprise at endline, and income at first flush — with weekly monitoring logs and baseline and endline assessments.

Evidence, not assumption
Every recommendation is grounded in data. Because we run our own IT wing, that evidence can be collected digitally in the field as the programme runs, rather than assembled from paperwork at close-out.
Disciplines that work together
Legal frameworks for child rights, on-the-ground conflict resolution, curriculum design and custom data systems sit in one firm. Assignments that would need three contractors need one.
Built for inclusion
We design around the specific needs of participants — including persons with disabilities, women and youth. Training materials, pacing and group structure are adapted, not templated.
Donor-standard accountability
Budgets, procurement and reporting are managed by a chartered accountant with applied data science training, against M&E frameworks designed to meet institutional standards.
The experience behind the firm
OVLINK Consult Ltd is a young company built by practitioners with long records. Between them, our five core team members bring:
- Funded research and training projects delivered with the American Chemical Society, the British Council, UNESCO and T-TEL/Google/Kayma.
- Training of national and regional enumerators for the Ghana Statistical Service, including the 2021 Population and Housing Census.
